To arrive to Machu Picchu, we didn't go the easy way; that's car, train or helicopter. We had to walk for 5 days! Amazing and exhausting though, up and down mountains, rivers, wood bridges, mud... Passing the base of the Salcantay glacier at 4600, fighting against altitude, forests, jungle... and finally arriving nobody knows how in Aguas Calientes, the village down Machu Picchu!
