Finally, after the 5 days trekking, we arrived at Machu Picchu! The lost city of the Inkas... nobody knows who lived there and why it was abandoned. We don't even know the real name! Completely preserved because the Spaniards never found it, luckily... We started walking the Inka Trail up at 4:30 am in pitch black, to see sunrise (well, "cloudrise") and then, not enough walking, we went for Waynapicchu (mountain above Machu Picchu) up to the top! What a views, those mountains... A sacred place, for sure.
